You just need to install -> General settings -> Update software to update to iOS 11 offline. Note that this is a live update via OTA and this update will retain all data, no need to use the computer to perform. However, some of the errors or conflicts that existed were not eliminated cleanly.
There is also another way to upgrade to iOS 11 is to download the appropriate device fimware on your computer and then use iTunes to update.
A few notes before updating to iOS 11 through iTunes:
Backup data: force you to backup your computer to iTunes or iCloud so that when the recovery is convenient and fast.
Remove the application is no longer used: iOS when downloaded down will need temporary free space to install, and often you should leave the machine empty 1-3GB to play. With the iPad, I usually leave at least 4GB as the iPad's set is larger than the iPhone.
