Bixby is Samsung’s latest AI Assistant which is part of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. This Samsung’s second attempt on AI, the first one was S-Voice which was released with Samsung Galaxy S3 but unfortunately, it was an immediate failure.

Bixby is said to be more than just your normal assistant. For example, when you say I want to take a Selfie it will immediately bring up the front facing camera or when you say call John — Bixby will ask you “Which John?” instead of dialing the first available John in your contact list. At the moment Bixby supports native apps like Health and Camera, moreover, it already supports Uber and YouTube. Much more will be added to the list of course. A physical button on the left side is dedicated to Bixby on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Having said that, you can install Bixby APK on other Samsung Devices as well.
